In the beginning Performance Engineering (PE) was opened by Wyn and Ralph Kern in 1993. They specialized in doing engine and suspension modifications. PE did modifications for motocross riders such as Travis Pastrana, James Stewart, Ronnie Tichenor, and many more. Along with engine and suspensions modifications PE manufactures billet racing components and supplies them to some major aftermarket companies like Motorsports and Magnum.

Then Performance Honda (PH) opened on September 11, 2001. Performance Honda has approximately 10,000 square feet including an air conditioned service area. Although, PH opened at a tragic time in the world, the store started off with great promise.

Performance Honda - Winter Garden is located at the edge of Orange and Lake Counties where there are actually hills. Yes, that's right, hills in Florida . Most people ride out here because of the curved roads and the quiet, scenic routes.
